Welcome

We would like to welcome you to the Saint Cloud State University Rowing home page. The rowing team is a club sport at Saint Cloud and has members in various degrees ranging from business to criminal justice and elementary education. We practice on a beautiful stretch of the Mississipi River right alongside the campus. During the fall and spring season we compete all over the midwest with competitions being held in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Wisconsin along with our home regatta in Saint Cloud, MN during the spring. The team is entirely student run and active all throughout the year. Please feel free to contact any of our Executive Board members with any questions you may have.

Our weekly general meetings are held every Wednesday at 9 p.m. in the Voyageur South room, located on the second floor of the Atwood Memorial Center. Please be sure to check the Atwood Listings located next to the stairs for the meeting place, since the location is subject to change.

Important Information

The Saint Cloud State Rowing team is gearing up for what will hopefully be a very successful fall season. While the regatta schedule for the fall season is yet to be finalized, hopes are running high after coming off one of the most successful years ever. Last year, the team had one of the largest incoming novice classes in the fall. While people ended up dropping over the winter, the remaining members left a mark to remember in the spring season. As the fall season is quickly approaching, the team will look to it's leaders for encouragement and the motivation to exceed last year's results. Please continue to check the regatta page for updates on the team's fall schedule as well as results from the upcoming season.

In addition, the team is continuing to actively purse the boathouse project. The process is just in the beginning stages, with the support of the University President as well as the City Parks Director hopefully coming soon. Please check back for more information as this exciting time for the team continues.
